Anaesthesia and type of procedure — Enlargement, corporoplasty, Peniflex prosthesis implantation and removal of scrotal lesions are listed as performed under general anaesthesia. Testicular biopsy and PRP therapy are done under local anaesthesia. Treatment for erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation does not require anaesthesia.
Tests are priced separately from the procedure — The starting price of an operation covers only the procedure itself. For example, before Peniflex prosthesis implantation a full diagnostic work-up is listed as a separate item from USD 54, and a consultation with an andrologist from USD 20.
The cause of the problem, not just the symptom — Erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation or infertility can have a hormonal, vascular or inflammatory cause. What the tests find determines both the treatment plan and its cost.
