Where to start

Patients rarely search for the name of a procedure — they search for what bothers them every day. Choose the option closest to your situation.

What determines the method and the price

What affects the scope of treatment and the cost
Diagnosis or treatment — The costs are of a different order. A follow-up gastroscopy starts from USD 33, while laparoscopic cholecystectomy starts from USD 554. Until a diagnosis is made, use the prices of consultations and tests as your guide.
Minimally invasive or open — For cholecystitis, the partner clinic performs laparoscopic cholecystectomy through a few small punctures (from USD 554). The surgeon makes the final decision on the scope of surgery based on the condition of the gallbladder.
A one-off procedure or a course — Outpatient medication treatment for duodenitis is given as a course; colitis may require hospital admission. The length of treatment shapes the total.
Anaesthesia — Gastroscopy and colonoscopy are done under local anaesthesia or brief sedation, the balloon is placed under light sedation, and for cholecystitis the clinic lists local, spinal or general anaesthesia. The doctor chooses the type of anaesthesia based on your condition and the scope of the procedure.
How many trips you will need — If you live abroad, the number of visits affects your total costs. Some steps can be done remotely: the clinic offers an initial online consultation, a follow-up consultation with treatment adjustment, and a review of test results with a treatment plan. Endoscopy and surgery are done in person.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a gastric balloon cost?
The clinic offers the procedure alone — from USD 143 (excluding the balloon). This is a starting price; the exact cost is given after an examination.
Who is an intragastric balloon suitable for?
The doctor decides this after examining you and assessing the condition of your stomach — this cannot be decided remotely from a description of symptoms or your weight.
How long does the procedure take, and do I need general anaesthesia?
Balloon placement takes 20–30 minutes and is done under light sedation. It is not open abdominal surgery: the balloon is placed endoscopically. The doctor will tell you on the day how long you need to stay for observation after the procedure.
Do I need a gastroscopy before the balloon?
The doctor decides how much preparation you need based on your condition. Gastroscopy is available in this section as a separate service — diagnostic from USD 42, with biopsy or a Helicobacter pylori test from USD 58.
What is the difference between gastroscopy and colonoscopy?
Gastroscopy examines the oesophagus, stomach and the first part of the duodenum and takes 10 to 30 minutes. Colonoscopy examines the large bowel, takes 20 to 40 minutes and costs from USD 74. Which test you need depends on where the pain is and what your test results show.
I live abroad. Can I start with an online consultation?
Yes. An initial online gastroenterologist consultation costs from USD 18, a review of test results with a treatment plan from USD 24, and a follow-up consultation or treatment adjustment from USD 7. Endoscopy and surgery cannot be done online, but you can plan your trip and understand which tests you will need.
