Oleh Iakovets is an endoscopist, a Candidate of Medical Sciences (PhD) and a member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Uzhhorod National University in 1998, completed his internship in surgery at the P. L. Shupyk Kyiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, and specialised in endoscopy at Lviv National Medical University in 2001.
