Iryna Keba is a dermatologist, trichologist and cosmetologist at the HairMed centre in Dnipro. She has been practising since 2013 and combines treatment of scalp conditions with dermatology and cosmetology appointments.

According to the centre's published fees, an initial trichologist consultation costs UAH 1,200 and a follow-up UAH 1,100. A dermatologist consultation costs UAH 1,200, and a follow-up UAH 1,100.
An examination, your medical history and trichoscopy — an examination of the scalp and hair under magnification. HairMed uses equipment with 60×, 200× and 1000× magnification; the image is shown on a monitor and the data are stored in your electronic patient record, so that changes can be compared at the follow-up appointment. If needed, the doctor orders tests.
Often, yes: hair loss can result from iron deficiency, thyroid disorders, hormonal changes or a recent illness. The doctor decides which tests are needed after the examination and trichoscopy — there is little point in having tests done in advance, before the consultation.
