Terms of Use

Version of 9 October 2026 (English translation of the Ukrainian version of 27 July 2026).

These Terms set out the rules for using the website mediukraine.com. By using the site — viewing pages, sending a request or leaving a review — you agree to them. If you disagree with anything, please do not use the site.

These Terms apply together with the Privacy Policy and the Review Publication Rules (in Ukrainian).

1. What MediUkraine is and what it is not

MediUkraine is an information catalogue of medical facilities and doctors. We bring together information about clinics, doctors, services and prices, help you find your way and pass your request on to the facility you choose.

MediUkraine is not a healthcare facility. We do not hold a medical licence, do not carry out diagnostics, do not prescribe treatment and do not provide medical services.

The materials on the site are not medical advice. Service descriptions, articles, doctor profiles and patient reviews are for information only. They do not replace an in-person consultation and cannot be a basis for making a diagnosis or choosing treatment on your own. Decisions about examination and treatment are made by a doctor after an examination.

If the situation is urgent — acute pain, bleeding, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, a suspected stroke or heart attack — do not look for information on the site: call emergency services immediately (103 in Ukraine, 112 in the EU) or go to the nearest emergency department.

2. Information about clinics, doctors and prices

We obtain information about facilities, doctors, the list of services and prices from the facilities themselves and from open sources — clinics’ official websites and public registers. We try to keep it up to date, but:

  • prices and the list of services may change without our knowledge — the final cost is confirmed by the facility;
  • a doctor’s availability, appointment schedule and conditions may differ from those shown on the site;
  • we do not guarantee that information about a doctor’s qualifications, experience or specialisation is complete — the facility itself always remains the primary source.

Each profile contains links to the sources the information was taken from. If you notice an inaccuracy, write to us and we will check and correct it.

3. Consultation requests

By sending a request, you ask us to pass it on to the chosen facility and help arrange an appointment. This means that:

  • the coordination service is free of charge for you;
  • we pass your name, contact details and the substance of your request to the facility — see the Privacy Policy for details;
  • the contract for medical services is concluded between you and the facility, not with MediUkraine. We are not a party to that contract;
  • we do not guarantee a specific appointment date, the availability of places or the result of treatment — these are decisions of the facility and the doctor;
  • the facility may refuse an appointment for medical or organisational reasons.

4. Reviews: your rights and your responsibility

4.1. What you confirm by leaving a review

By submitting a review, you confirm that:

  • you are 18 or older;
  • you personally used the service you are writing about;
  • the review describes your own experience, not a retelling of someone else’s words;
  • you have not received any reward for writing the review — either from the facility or from its competitors;
  • you wrote the text yourself, and its publication does not infringe anyone’s rights.

4.2. What a review may not contain

  • insults, threats, obscene language, calls to violence;
  • personal or medical data of other people — other patients, relatives, staff of the facility;
  • advertising, links, contact details, mentions of competitors in an advertising context;
  • knowingly false statements of fact — for example, about events that did not happen or about qualifications the doctor does not have;
  • reviews written to order, including those aimed at harming a facility or a doctor;
  • content that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s copyright.

The author of a review is responsible for its content. By leaving a review, you understand that it concerns a specific, named person or facility, and that the law of Ukraine provides for liability for spreading false information.

4.3. Permission to publish

Copyright in the text of the review remains with you. At the same time, by submitting a review you grant MediUkraine a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to store, publish, reproduce, display and quote your review on the site and in the site’s materials — including previews, collections and search results — in connection with the profile of the doctor or facility it concerns.

You can withdraw this permission at any time by writing to us: we will take the review down.

4.4. Moderation

Every review is checked before publication. We may reject a review that does not comply with clause 4.2 and remove one already published if new circumstances come to light.

We do not edit the content of reviews and do not hide low ratings. Critical reviews are published on an equal footing with positive ones. The full procedure is described in the Review Publication Rules (in Ukrainian).

4.5. If you are a doctor or a representative of a facility

You have a right of reply: we will publish it under the review with your signature.

If a review contains false statements of fact, breaks the law or discloses personal data, let us know and we will consider the request promptly, as a rule within 5 working days. The review may be temporarily hidden while it is being considered.

We do not remove value judgements: under Article 30 of the Law of Ukraine “On Information”, value judgements are not subject to refutation or proof of their truthfulness.

5. Ratings: where the numbers come from

The site may show two different indicators, and we never mix them:

  • A facility’s Google rating — a third-party aggregate. We show it as a fact, name the source, give the date and link to the original. We do not influence this number and do not verify it.
  • The MediUkraine rating — the arithmetic mean of the ratings left in reviews on this site. We show it only once there are at least three reviews: with fewer, an average means nothing.

We do not change ratings manually, do not delete low ones and do not add invented ones.

6. Intellectual property

The texts, collections, catalogue structure, site design and the MediUkraine logo belong to us or are used on lawful grounds. You may not copy materials from the site in whole blocks for publication on other resources without our written consent.

Quoting with a link to the source page is allowed and welcome.

The names, logos and photographs of facilities belong to the respective facilities and are used to identify the facility in the catalogue.

7. Limitation of liability

MediUkraine provides access to information “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • the quality, scope and result of medical services provided by a facility or a doctor — the facility is responsible for these;
  • the content of reviews: these are statements by their authors, not our statements. We act as a platform hosting third-party materials and are not the author of these statements;
  • outdated prices, schedules and lists of services if the facility did not inform us of changes;
  • decisions you make on the basis of information from the site without consulting a doctor;
  • temporary unavailability of the site for technical reasons.

This limitation does not apply to intentional acts on our part or to consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.

8. Links to third-party sites

The site contains links to third-party resources — clinic websites, Google Maps, professional registers. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it. Following such links is at your discretion, and the terms of the respective resources apply there.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. The date of the current version is given at the top of the page. We will announce significant changes separately on the site. Continued use of the site after the changes take effect means that you accept them.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, if no agreement can be reached, in the manner established by the law of Ukraine.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, this provision does not deprive you of the protection guaranteed by the mandatory rules of law of your country of residence.
